LIMITED REPAIR WARRANTY (“WARRANTY”) TERMS


TEMIS Motorsports  guarantee that repairs and services performed at our facility will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, starting from the original repair date and the mileage listed on the invoice (“Warranty Period”). This warranty assumes the vehicle is used under normal driving conditions and is properly maintained during the coverage period.

This limited repair warranty is extended only to you, the original purchaser, and not to anyone who may purchase your vehicle from you during the term of the warranty. 

If a covered defect arises, we may choose to:

  • Re-perform the original work at no charge,
  • Replace the faulty part(s), or
  • Refund the cost of the original repair (minus any prior credits).
  • Warranty repair costs will not exceed the original amount paid for the repair.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY

This Warranty covers the following types of repairs and services:

  • Air conditioning, heating, and climate control systems.
  • Brake system(s).
  • Clutches (clutch component or assembly repair and replacement).
  • Electrical system(s).
  • Emission control system(s).
  • Engine cooling system(s).
  • Electronic engine management system and other on-board computer systems (engine, body, brake and suspension computers), cruise control systems.
  • Engine performance or drivability services and repair.
  • Exhaust system(s).
  • Fuel system(s).
  • Ignition system(s).
  • Starting and charging systems.
  • Steering/suspension systems, wheel bearings, CV joints, half-shafts and driveshafts.
  • Hybrid drive battery replacements.



WHAT YOU MUST DO TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

  • Keep and present a copy of your original repair invoice.
  • If returning to the original repair shop is reasonable, please bring your vehicle back there.
  • If returning is not feasible, contact us before any warranty work is done so we can guide you to an approved location.
  • If you're directed to a shop that doesn’t accept warranty payments directly, you may need to pay up front and submit the invoice for reimbursement. All original documents will be returned to you.




WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY

  • Wear-and-tear parts such as belts, filters, brake pads, or fluids
  • Issues resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, or tampering
  • Repairs not originally performed by our facility
  • Damage caused by improper maintenance or alterations
  • Commercial, racing, or off-road vehicle use (unless otherwise stated)
  • Any non-warranty service you authorize at the time of warranty repair
  • Incidental or consequential damages (e.g., lost time, towing, rental cars, etc.)



AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY

This Warranty does not cover repair(s) or replacement(s) except as listed in the section, “What is Covered by the Warranty,” even though we may offer other services. Specifically excluded are any repairs involving the removal of the engine, or the replacement or removal of internally lubricated parts and other such repairs as listed below.

  1. ENGINE
  2. Any internal repairs or replacement of internal components, or replacement of engine assembly
  3. TRANSMISSION, TRANSAXLES
  4. Automatic – any internal repair or component replacement
  5. Manual – any internal repair or component replacement
  6. DRIVE AXLE/DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY

  d. Any repair or component replacement requiring the removal of internally lubricated components or replacement of the drive axle/differential assembly

  1. Ring gear, pinion shaft, and related gears
  2. Associated bearing with above

  e. Pinion seal

  4.   AUTO BODY, PAINT, MOLDING REPAIR

f. Any repair or materials related to auto body repair work

g. Glass related repairs

  5.  REPAIRS PERFORMED ON COMMERCIAL VEHICLES with a load carrying capacity greater than 1 1/2 tons

  6.  TIRES, BATTERIES (excluding hybrid drive and 12 volt Diehard battery replacements)

  7.  USED OR SALVAGED PARTS

  8.  PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICES (excluding belt and hose replacement)

h. Oil changes, fluid changes, and flushes, wiper blades, filters.
